Simon founded Bourse in 1999 after moving to Guernsey from the United Kingdom where he was a company lawyer for 15 years.
As Executive Chairman he is responsible for the strategic development of the Group and governance. He takes a lead role in the continuing development of innovative products and services for wealthy families and individuals.
Simon read law at Cambridge and was called to the Bar of the Middle Temple. He was formerly the President of the Guernsey International Legal Association.
Simon is a long-time pilot, yachtsman and sportsman and continues to play representative squash for Wales in the masters age groups
Lisa has over 30 years’ experience as a lawyer working within private practice, central government, a large retail company and the financial regulator. She practised law in the UK and Australia before coming to Guernsey in 2009. She was admitted as an Advocate of the Guernsey Royal Court in 2013 and has subsequently gained a broad experience of commercial and civil litigation and dispute resolution. Previously a director of a small trust company, Lisa gained an in-depth knowledge of trusts, regulatory compliance and corporate governance.
Lisa joined Bourse in March 2024 as Chief Legal Officer and has responsibility for providing legal advice and guidance across the Bourse Group of companies. She has since joined the Board of Directors of Bourse Trust.
She holds a LL.B (Hons), an M.A. in Medieval Welsh History and was called to the Bar of England & Wales, Queensland, Australia and Guernsey. She also holds the IoD Diploma in Company Direction.
Outside work, Lisa is an avid all-year round sea swimmer and has represented Guernsey in the World Winter Swimming Championships. She also runs (slowly) and is on the board of the Guernsey Triathlon Club. She and her partner share a home with their 3 rescue dogs.
Konrad is a consultant in the trusts and private wealth department and specialises in contentious and non-contentious trust matters, pensions, employee benefit schemes and share option schemes.
He advises on the establishment and administration of complex private and corporate trust structures as well as all regulatory matters relevant to the trust and company administration sector. He has advised on the establishment and continues to be adviser to some of the largest endowments and philanthropies established on the island.
Konrad also advises on the structuring and establishment of corporate vehicles and has a particular interest in non-contentious insurance matters and insurance regulation.
He represents trustees, protectors and beneficiaries in various high value contentious trust matters aided by his extensive experience gained over 40 years of involvement in contentious matters.
Konrad qualified as a South African attorney and conveyancer in 1984, and as a Notary Public in 1985. He is also a Solicitor of England and Wales and was called to the Guernsey Bar in 2005. Konrad joined Carey Olsen in 2001, prior to which Konrad was a partner in the firm Jan S de Villiers.
Konrad joined the Board of Bourse Life and Pensions Limited as a non-executive director in the summer of 2024.
